The NR_ arfcn.csv export has a "Mode" column with modes FDD, TDD, SUL and SDL.
The LTE_arfcn.csv export does not have a similar "Mode" column.
Any chance the mode column could be added to the LTE_arfcn.csv export file? |

Hi James, ok fixed |

James |
Good afternoon,
I noticed that for n259, the starting NR-ARFCN for low channel is incorrect. Per TS 38.101-2 and TS 38.104, the starting NR-ARFCN should be 2270833 for both 60 and 120 kHz rasters. |

Hi Michal, my script is failing after the introduction of bandwidth 3MHz, I need some time to fix it |

Hi James, for n257 and raster 120, the starting arfcn is odd value 2054167, and allowed N step size 2;
I think 2057500 is applicable for raster 60 with step 1, but for raster 120, only 2057499 or 2057501 are applicable |
29 12 2023 |
James |
It appears that the FR2-1 ARFCN check may be incorrect; it is showing channelization that do follow the Nref step size as invalid. Here is an example: n257, Raster 120, N step size 2, SCS 120, Channel Bandwidth 400 should have a valid ARFCN 2057500, but the output states ARFCN 2057500 as invalid. |

Hi, it seems that nr_ca.php interband channel bandwidths are broken, for records not referring to intraband tables it just displays "1" instead of indicating channel bandwidths according to table header. |

We use this site consistently in our test lab. It is very helpful for setting up test tables and conducted power excels.
Is it possible to add in LTE Band 23 (NTN)? Our lab will do testing on this technology, which we understand was never implemented in devices before, but has already defined channels, frequencies, and bandwidths. |

Looks like the center channel is being reported incorrectly for NR B66 AWS-3 FDD.
Ch 431000 = 2155 MHz, Ch 349000 = 1745 MHz.
These number are correct on the chart but when you search for them entering Ch 431000, I am seeing
Ch 431000 = 2155 MHz, Ch 349000 = 1755 MHz.
1755 should be 1745for the complementary center channel. |

n100 downlink low channel and mid channel frequency/arfcn appear to be out-of-sync as compared to the calculated frequency to arfcn mapping (from the calculator at the top of the NR page). Thank you.
For n100 downlink low channel:
Table shows 919.5 MHz/183880
Calculator returns 183880 <==> 919.4 MHz, 919.5 MHz <==> 183900
For n100 downlink mid channel:
Table shows 922.3 MHz/184440
Calculator returns 184440 <==> 922.2 MHz, 922.3 MHz <==> 184460 |

Can you please update NR-CA BCS according to 38.101-x (e.g. using v17.4.0), as there are new BCS addition addressing new CBW added for some NR bands. E.g. for inter-band CA (two bands), there are many new BCS added --> like CA_n1A-n78A, now supporting BCS 0-3 for the purpose of adding for example 70MHz on n78 in CA, which is now being used in some parts of Europe. On the Radio Resource Grip page, it is possible to select "Display max L beams", however the tool automatically implies that all the beams are consecutive starting from 0 to L. However in reality, at least for high band (mmWave), and especially for the band n257 displayed by default on the page, the equipment vendors always use non-consecutive SSB beams and not starting from 0. Would it be valuable to enhance the page where a user could tick the specific beam indexes, not just a range from 0 to L? This would require a TDD pattern compatibility check, however this is exactly how it is implemented in real life, including constraints on suitable SSB indexes imposed by TDD pattern. |

Hi,
first I would like to congratulate you for your great WEB-Site, which has been both interesting an useful for me to understand LTE and now 5G.
I’m now taking a deeper look into 5G-NAS Messages and stumbled over the issue, that the message-type for 5GS session management messages on your site seem to differ from the types in the 3gpp and ETSI Standard.
In your table the first half-Byte of the ID is 6 or 7 where it should be C or D according to the Standard (Table 9.7.2).
ETSI TS 124 501 V16.5.1 Table 9.7.2:

Hi LG,
The table "Intra-band contiguous CA" on the https://www.sqimway.com/nr_ca.php page does not seem to add up. First of all, it is not clear what "SCS bandwidth max (MHz)" column name means at all. And a quick example demonstrating that the values in this question might require attention: CA configuration CA_n257M implies 8x100MHz=800MHz carrier aggregation, but the values in the table are 200MHz and 800MHz, if the culumn "SCS bandwidth max (MHz)" is assumed to denote maximum aggregated bandwidth. If this column in fact assumes something else, then 800MHz is not mentioned anywhere anyways. |

regarding nominal channel spacing: please have a look at chapter 5.4A.1 Channel spacing for CA of 3GPP TS 38.101-1 V16.5.0. You will realise that the SCS of the CA carriers is no longer taken into account in the way it was used in older specs. |
19 10 2020 |
LG |
Hi AlexH, could you please provide an example ? not sure where is the issue |

A number of the NR bands are currently being graphically misrepresented at the wrong frequencies, n48, n77, n78 for example are too low. for example n48 @ ~ 1800MHz. The table values are correct, however.

Hi Andrew, I have distinguished subframes and slots between FR1 and FR2 Thanks |
30 09 2020 |
Andrew Kolomatski |
It would appear that there is an ambiguity on the page.
First off, the 5th column in the long "PRACH Config Index" table is named "Slot number", whereas in 3gpp 38.211 it is called "Subframe number" in 2 out of 3 cases (for all FR1 cases essentially).
But this is not a big deal. The real ambiguity arises in the very bottom table "PRACH occasions" having its 3rd column named "Slot". Looks like it should be either named "Subframe" or a crucial comment must be added, for example like this copy-paste from 3gpp 38.211:
For the purpose of slot numbering in the tables, the following subcarrier spacing shall be assumed:
- 15 kHz for FR1
- 60 kHz for FR2.
As an example of ambiguity, without this comment, a PRACH allocated in subframe 7 (PRACH configuration index 9) in the network with 30kHz SCS, is presented as allocated in Slot 7, while in fact it is located in slots 14&15 of 20-slot frame. |

Hi Michael, I agree; the usual rule I used is to indicate the 3GPP release of the creation of the band, even if there were some changes in the supported bandwidth later on. The best would be to use a database with information for each release, but it would require a lot more work |
